Congratulations to all the Whizz-Kidz runners who took part in the 2008 BUPA 10,000 in torrential conditions! Despite the wet weather, supporters lined the streets and bands played around the route, taking in Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament, London Eye and the Bank of England finishing on the Mall in front of Buckingham Palace. It was a great event so thank you to all of the team for their fundraising efforts on behalf of Whizz-Kidz.

The manual wheelchair I received from Whizz-Kidz gave me ultimate freedom. It had everything I could want in a wheelchair. I was comfortable in it, I had no problems pushing myself around and the compact, attractive frame made me feel more confident. Now
