Local fundraising

By fundraising for Whizz-Kidz in your community you are helping us to ensure that every disabled child fulfils their potential and leads an active childhood. We currently have hundreds of people like you across the UK either raising money or volunteering for us. Your support is invaluable to us, so join us today and get involved. Whizz-Kidz’ Regional team is here to help!

Fancy dress fundraising

We will use our fundraising knowledge and expertise to assist you, whether you are supporting us as an individual or as part of a local club or group.

We can provide advice to help you reach your targets and provide you with fundraising tips and techniques. Whether you’re organising your own event, nominating Whizz-Kidz as your chosen charity or getting your school involved – we’d love to hear from you.

Events Calendar 2008

Pitsford Reservoir Whizz-Walk

Venue: Brixworth Country Park Northamptonshire

Date: Sunday 7 September 2008


This event is a sponsored 7-mile walk around Pitsford Water Reservoir in support of Whizz-Kidz.  The route is circular starting and finishing at Brixworth Country Park. The track around Pitsford Water is used and is suitable for walkers, joggers, cyclists and users of wheelchairs and powered wheelchairs. – this event is a walk and not a race!

Pitsford Water is a place of natural beauty and an important haven for wildlife.

Charity Fun Run

Venue: Blythe Valley Park, Shirley Junction 4 M42

Date: Sunday 14 September 2008

 

Liberty Property Trust UK in partnership with the Shirley Lions Club are holding their fifth charity Fun Run for all ages around the countryside pathways at Blythe Valley Park.

Walk, jog or run either the 5km or 500m course and help raise vital funds for Whizz-Kidz.

5 Mile Fun Run

Venue: Knowle B93

Date: Sunday 10 May 2009

 

The Knowle and Dorridge Lions Club has chosen Whizz-Kidz as one of the charities to benefit from their 26th annual Fun Run. A registration fee applies and you to participate you must register in advance, entries open on 1st January 2009.

Draycote Water Whizz-Walk

Venue: Draycote Water, Kite Hardwick

Date: Sunday 17 May 2009

 

Draycote Water is Warwickshire's laregst resevoir and renowened for it's beautiful Country Park, a haven for wildlife. The scenery is superb and ideal for our 5 mile sponsored walk. The course is also wheelchair accessible.

Sky Diving
