Whizz-Kidz relies on the people like you who are willing to offer their time to support our work locally. We provide support for all our volunteers so you’ll be well briefed on the charity’s work and on the activities you get involved in.
There are a number of ways you can volunteer at Whizz-Kidz. For more information go to current volunteer opportunities.

By joining the Whizz-Kidz Volunteer Network you can help us to raise awareness of mobility issues, as well as funds, across the UK. So no matter where you live you can make a difference. Whether you can give an hour here or there or a longer commitment your contribution will be valued.
Whizz-Kidz recognises the significant role that volunteers play in supporting us to achieve our strategic targets and has developed a volunteer policy that reflects this commitment. Take a look at our Volunteer Policy.
Due to the nature of our work applicants 18 years or older applying for volunteer roles involving direct contact with children, young people or vulnerable adults are subject to Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) disclosure. This is because Whizz-Kidz has a legal “duty of care” to its beneficiaries.
Apply now to become a Whizz-Kidz volunteer.

Being an ambassador gives me the chance to become more involved in raising awareness and helping other young disabled people
